Description:
We are seeking to fill an opening in our Sales and Marketing Group.
The
person that fills this position will be responsible for
meeting and exceeding sales targets in an assigned territory.
Responsibilities will also include attending training seminars,
identifying and making initial contacts with prospective
clients, and assisting management in formulating market
and sales plans.
Primary Requirements:
- Normally requires BS/BA plus 1-5 years related software
sales experience or equivalent
- Some knowledge and experience with the educational market
- Strong organizational, communicator and presentation skills
- Ability to follow up on and create own leads
- Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Windows-based
applications a plus
- Willingness to do extensive traveling
- Strongly prefer located in Houston
- Experience with high volume, phone based sales activities
