As a leading provider of Windows client/server administrative applications for education, we have an immediate opening within our Technology Group. We are seeking a Citrix XenApp expert with a wide range of Windows-based technical experience to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Installation and ongoing maintenance of Citrix XenApp 4.5 15+ server farm environment including publishing of new applications, etc.
- Providing second-level support to 40+ customers with 250+ end users including troubleshooting connectivity, performance and printing issues
- Planning and testing of possible future XenApp 5 deployment
- Limited off-hours support and maintenance responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Citrix XenApp 4.5 Administration
- Citrix XenServer
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- Windows XP/Vista/7
- Mac OS X experience preferred
Qualifications and experience:
- 3+ years of Citrix XenApp 4.5/Presentation Server 4.0 experience in an administrative role.
- CCA certification a plus.
- Interacting with clients of varying technical proficiencies will be required on a daily basis, so the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is a must.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks is essential.
- Organizational skills are a must.
