We are seeking an Implementation Specialist with 2+ years of proven experience as a trainer for Accounting, Fund Raising or educational software products. The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful deployment of Senior Systems products and services and involves the development and execution of project plans to ensure an effective and timely implementation of Senior Systems software solutions. To be considered for this role, candidates would describe themselves as being goal-oriented, results driven, and analytical in nature. A successful candidate will be dedicated, enjoy project-based work, and have the ability to multi-task. Dealing with clients will be required on a daily basis, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. Willingness and the desire to travel is essential.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for several schools, working with the customer to understand their software needs. You will establish appropriate implementation timelines for them and manage their expectations. You will work with cross-department teams to schedule and deliver any data conversions or product enhancements needed. You will personally deliver training services at the customer’s site or via the web. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Senior Systems products and services and use that knowledge to configure the software based on the customer’s requirements. Maintain a strong customer service orientation, providing empathetic customer support within established company guidelines. Develop strategies to increase client satisfaction and ensure an optimal level of servicing.
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Experience with Accounting, Fund Raising or educational software products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time Management skills.
- Proven experience as a trainer in group settings.
- The ability to communicate professionally and effectively with people across a wide range of technical proficiency.
- The ability to use MS Excel, Project and Word and/or equivalent applications.
The following may be considered assets:
- Knowledge of SQL language.
- Report writing (Crystal Reports).
- Experience with structured programming, databases and data structures
Travel:
- Up to 2 weeks per month
- Our customer base is nationwide so overnight travel can be expected
