Senior Systems Product Integration

Enter once, use everywhere. With Senior Systems, you get the best of both worlds—modular software components give you the flexibility to configure just the system you need, but all the modules utilize a single, central database for seamless integration. You don’t have any of the headaches that come with trying to keep multiple copies of data synchronized between applications. Along with improved data integrity, full integration also gives you real productivity benefits, since your staff doesn’t need to enter the same data more than once. And full integration means real-time updating, so you know you’ve got the latest version.
Here are just some of the ways that data is shared between and among Senior Systems products:
  • Student and parent biographical data, addresses, emergency contacts, and family links are shared by all of the Senior Systems modules
  • Accepted applicant data from Admissions is shared with Enrollment Management
  • Applicant data from Admissions is transferred upon enrollment, making it quick and easy to set up new student records and accounts in Registrar and Accounts Receivable
  • Financial aid data is shared with Admissions, and also with Accounts Receivable and Registrar for re-enrolling students
  • Course, section, faculty, room, and schedule data is shared throughout the Academic Office modules
  • "Next Year" student and schedule information is automatically updated during end-of-year processing
  • Teacher recommendations can be turned into course requests for scheduling
  • Chart of accounts is shared among all Business Office modules; transactions from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable posted to General Ledger
  • Fixed assets can post depreciation to General Ledger
  • Purchase requests can be converted to purchase orders in Accounts Payable
  • Purchase orders automatically update encumbrance amounts in General Ledger
  • Non-business office modules that generate financial transactions, such as Summer School, Alumni/Development, and Campus Store, as well as My BackPack, post data to General Ledger and Accounts Receivable
  • Purchase order receipts can update inventory for Campus Store or create new fixed assets
  • Student and parent data transferred to Alumni/Development upon enrollment and/or graduation
  • Fundraising attendees in Events can be converted to constituents in Alumni/Development
  • Profile, academic, attendance, schedule, giving, and account/payment data shared with user communities in My BackPack™
  • Applications, registrations, user profile changes, student photos, and enrollment contracts and documents collected via My BackPack update appropriate modules via an approval process
