These minimum specifications are meant to be a guideline. Each School's needs are different. For more specific recommendations tailored to your installation needs, please contact your Salesperson or the Product Support Department.

Due to licensing concerns, servers are to be dedicated machines (no Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server or other applications installed). It is recommended that all servers have a DVD drive installed.

Workstations for client applications
Processor: Pentium-class CPU, 500 MHz or higher Memory: 256 MB RAM or higher Hard disk: 500 MB free space Display: 800x600 or higher resolution monitor Operating system: Windows 98 or higher

Oracle Database Server
Processor: Dual or Quad-core CPU (Multiple processors may be installed depending on contractual provisions) Memory: 4 GB RAM Hard disk: 80+ GB free space (various RAID configurations are supported) Display: 100 Mbps network card Operating system: Windows 2003 Server Standard 32-bit

Oracle Application Server (My BackPack server)
Processor: Dual or Quad-core CPU (Multiple processors may be installed depending on contractual provisions) Memory: 4 GB RAM Hard disk: 36+ GB free space (various RAID configurations are supported) Display: 100 Mbps network card, 1 Mbps+ connection to internet Operating system: Windows 2003 Server Standard 32-bit

Note: Screen resolution must be set to a minimum of 1024x768.
