The installation and configuration of the system is a key element in the overall functionality and performance of the system. A carefully planned installation will provide you with a reliable and effective system. We offer two methods of installation and configuration:

On-site Installation Option

We send a technician to your school to perform the installation and configuration of the database server software and the application software. Our technician will configure the database server, setup the necessary backup procedures, configure any available workstations and instruct your network administrator on the operations of the database server. This option is best if your school does not have a full-time network administrator or does not have experience with Client/Server databases.

Remote Installation Option

We instruct your network administrator through all stages of the installation process. A time is scheduled with one of our technicians to help your network administrator perform the installation and configuration of the database server software along with the application software. We will configure the database server, setup the necessary backup procedures, and instruct your network administrator on the operations of the database server. This option is best if your school has a full-time network administrator that is experienced in Client/Server databases.

Both installation options are available to each of our clients.
